The December Education Meeting is Wednesday, December 2 at 3:45 p.m. in the Chamber’s Conference Center. The meeting is open to all interested Chamber members.
Mario Contini, Superintendent of Conejo Valley Unified School District will provide an update on current affairs of the school district.

Wednesday, December 9, from 5:30-7 p.m. 'Tis the season to network in style. Experience what the Oaks Shopping Center has to offer, enjoy some holiday cheer at the hosted bar, network to holiday music, partake in gift card giveaways and much more. The Networking at Night Mixer takes place at 350 W. Hillcrest Dr., Thousand Oaks (at Macy's Men's Court, enter near Johnny Rockets on south side of the mall).
The cost for Chamber members is $2, non-members $15. No reservations required.

Amgen Foundation Grant Supports Ventura County Together Campaign to Address Basic Needs in the Community
The Amgen Foundation and Ventura County Together (VC Together) are partnering to take the recently launched “The Buck Starts Here” campaign to the next level. The Amgen Foundation is matching dollar for dollar every contribution made to VC Together up to $150,000 until December 4, 2009. Funds will support local food, shelter and healthcare needs through a collaboration of 29 local public and private agencies joining together to address economic challenges faced by Ventura County residents.
