    Event Description:

    The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Acorn Newspapers are collaborating to host the 2022 Candidates Forum for select races appearing on the June 7, 2022 ballot. Moderated by Kyle Jorrey, Editor of the Thousand Oaks Acorn and John Loesing, Managing Editor of The Acorn Newspaper. The forum will be held at the Lundring Events Center at California Lutheran University on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. 
     
    In addition to the in-person viewing, the Candidates Forum will be streamed live on Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
     
     
    The Candidates Forum will cover two high-profile local races:  Ventura County Sheriff and Ventura County Supervisor – District 2. All candidates have confirmed their participation. 
    • 6:00 – 6:45pm – Ventura County Sheriff Forum
      • Candidates: Sheriff Bill Ayub and Commander Jim Fryhoff 
    • 7:00 – 8:00pm – Ventura County Supervisor Forum
      • Claudia Bill-de la Peña, Jeff Gorell and Tim McCarthy
