Please join us for a special presentation on SBARestaurant Revitalization Fund. Our guest speaker Alexandria M. Wright Ph.D. is the Outreach Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration, serving the Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
The Restaurant Revitalization Grant is a program to provide restaurants with funding to fill the gap where PPP funds ran out for qualifying restaurants.
Alexandria M. Wright, Ph.D. Dr. Wright currently serves as an outreach specialist for the SBA Los Angeles District Office, focusing on Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. She has over fifteen years? experience in entrepreneurial education and technical assistance, including incubator development and micro-loan funding. She holds specialties in regional economic development, economic impact analysis, and resiliency planning. While Director of the Regional Economic Development Center in Prescott, AZ, Dr.
Wright expanded the Small Business Development Center to include five satellite offices in partnership with neighboring cities and Tribal Nations and established the region?s first PTAC (government procurement and technical assistance center). As an entrepreneur herself, Dr. Wright owned and operated a bicycle shop in Flagstaff, AZ for fourteen years with her husband and has been consulting for rural communities and American Indian Tribes since 2014.
Dr. Wright publishes in the field of sustainable development and performance indicators and holds an extended BS in Economics, a MA in Public Policy, and a doctorate from the School of International Affairs and Politics at Northern Arizona University.
