    Event Description:
    Legislative Roundtable provides a setting for dialogue to take place on public policy issues and gives public agency staff, elected officials, their staff and businesses an opportunity to network. The meeting includes a guest speaker on a public sector topic and regular updates from our local cities, agencies, and elected officials.

    Staff members provide brief reports from their prospective agencies to inform each other and members of the chamber of upcoming events or other items of interest.

    Michael Forbes has over 20 years of experience in local government planning. He worked as the City Planner for the cities of Burbank and Glendora before serving five years as the Community Development Director in Temple City. He currently serves as Deputy Community Development Director for the City of Thousand Oaks. Michael received a bachelor’s degree in geography from UCLA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
