• Chronic Stress and Pain Management

    WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. — The Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara (CscVvsb) announces a free workshop, “Chronic Stress and Pain Management” with Daniela Paolone, LMFT on Tuesday, January 19th, at 12:00-1:30pm, at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Please call 805.379.4777 to RSVP or to learn more. In this interactive and informative workshop, you will learn about alternative health strategies to address chronic stress and pain. After a breif overview of how stress impacts the body, attendants will have the opprotunity to participate and learn a variety of techniques. Some of the activities include guided meditation, Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) and breathing exercises. Not only will these approaches help in addressing pain and stress but can also aid in improved sleep. So let’s explore these methods together in an effort to help promote opprotunities toward health and healing! Daniela Paolone is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Westlake Village who provides support to those suffering from chronic pain, chronic illness and anxiety using mindfullness, tapping, guided meditation and additional holistic approaches. Her focus in this area comes from her own personal history with chronic pain and illness and the impact it can have on the person, support partners and family members. She also offers presentations in the community on related topics each month.
