In this seminar, Eileen Gould, owner of Eileen Gould Design and Construction, will discuss the challenges of home design and functionality following a diagnosis of dementia or other disease or mobility impairment. She will also cover cost considerations for major and minor home improvements to keep loved ones safe and better accommodated, including lighting, space planning, custom furnishing, elevators, grab bars, chairlifts, and other options. A checklist will be provided to seminar attendees to help them begin the conversation at home regarding possible changes that may be needed.
