GIFT for Women

Event Description:GIFT (Gaining Insight for Transition) for Women is a group sponsored by the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to create and support a thriving network for women in transitional stages and empower them to connect with their passions, dreams and skills through access to a guest lecture series, employment and volunteer opportunities, and monthly meetings that encourage personal and professional growth. GIFT attendees will have an opportunity to mingle and discuss topics such as women contemplating career change, mothers considering returning to work, and empty-nesters searching for their next step.
GIFT meeting will have two parts:
I. A mini workshop on tools to use during life's many transitions
II. Guest Speaker - GIFT Storytelling - Speaker: Terri Hilliard Olson, Esq.
Our November Speaker is Terri Hilliard Olson, Esq. and her law practice in devoted to areas of Estate, Elder and Special Needs. She is very involved in the community and like many GIFT attendees, has the challenge of balancing life and career. Terri has been nominated and is a finalist in the Los Angeles Business Journal Leaders in Law. I hope you can carve out an hour in your busy schedules to join GIFT and find inspirations in Terri’s story of transitions.
Meetings are FREEto attend for Chamber members and non-members and held at the Chamber facilities from 12:00-1:00 PM on the first Tuesday of each month. *Meetings are "brown bag lunch" . Participants are welcome to bring lunch. GIFT does not meet during the months of June-September and will resume for the month of October.
