    "Knockout Networking Tips"

    Join Lisa Oliver as she shares her knowledge and experience in a welcoming and fun learning environment. Lisa will show you how to use the Chamber to your advantage, discuss what the realistic expectations are in networking and be “effective” with following up. Lisa will also talk thru “elevator tips”. Come prepared with your 20-second or less speech to share. Include your name, company name, reference your business location, incorporate a story, be creative and “paint a picture”, include statistics or awards anything that makes your company stand out. Most importantly, make it memorable, listen and cater to your audience!  Prizes will be awarded during the class.  Learn how to prepare for your next networking event. Gain the confidence and the enthusiasm to share your business - Make Networking Fun!

    Presenter:  Lisa Oliver, General Manager, TITLE Boxing & Chamber Ambassador
     

    Most of you know her as the high-energy and enthusiastic dynamo at many of our Chamber events over the past 6 years.  Lisa Oliver is the General Manager of TITLE Boxing Club in Newbury Park and co-creator of their nationally recognized Boxing Against Parkinson's Disease program.  Her unique background includes Executive  Manager for M.A.C Cosmetics, the world's leading professional make-up authority, and her experiences in the Third World where she lived in a hut on the remote island of Madagascar.  There she created both an English speaking and Dance and Fitness program for local school children aged 6-22.  Her lifelong fascination with the sport of Boxing and personal commitment to fitness led to her dream position with TITLE Boxing Club 4 years ago.

     

    Lisa served 2 consecutive year terms as the Consul General of the Chamber Ambassador Program for the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, and continues to serve the community as a Chamber Ambassador.  She has several hundred events under her belt and looks forward to sharing her networking experience with Chamber members.
