Elysian Media Group is is seeking a dynamic print advertising sales specialist who can help grow regional and national accounts for a travel and lifestyle magazine. We are looking for someone with PRIOR PRINT AD SALES EXPERIENCE who can prospect, generate leads, and close deals. College degree in marketing or related field is preferred, and established relationships with current or prior print ad clients is a plus.
Candidate must have at least five years' experience in magazine ad sales and a proven success strategy. Must have compelling sales skills, be a strong closer and have a solid grasp of the print production process. Candidate must be prepared to schedule at least 10 in-person sales calls per week in the broad Southern California territory, building relationships, meeting sales goals, closing business on a consistent basis and generating revenue. The ability to manage RFPs, prepare proposals, presentations and media plans in collaboration with the publisher is required.
This freelance position offers a strong double-digit commission income (for both new and renewal business), bonusses and no cap.
