    Responsible for developing and executing an overarching social media strategy and building and monitoring PennyMac’s social media presence across a number of online channels including, but not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.  Responsible for managing and engaging with the organization's online community day-to-day in a way which builds brand awareness and the PennyMac community.

    Job Description

    • Expand PennyMac presence, build awareness, and increase engagement with key audiences.
    • Develop an overarching social media strategy and execute accordingly
    • Manage day-to-day posting on PennyMac’s main channels, including scheduling social media posts and managing responses.
    • Develop and post content that reflects the PennyMac brand, aligns with goals, resonates with key audiences, and stimulates action
    • Create and develop content ideas for social media, write copy, and collaborate to generate audio, photographic, video, and other multimedia content
    • Champion the PennyMac voice in key social channels, assuring tone and visuals are consistent across campaigns
    • Engage with key audiences, building and nurturing online communities. Monitor and reply to inquiries received via social media (reviews, comments, likes, mentions, etc.)
    • Establish and lead community management strategy and oversight that encourages positive engagement of members and deftly handles sensitive interactions
    • Analyze social media trends and use data to optimize efforts
    • Establish appropriate KPI goals and provide reports on metrics. Continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and implementing new initiatives
    • Work cross functionally with internal partners to understand business objectives in order to communicate effectively with customers
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

    Ideal Candidate will have the following:

    • 3-5 years related experience - social media and content creation and social media management 
    • Demonstrated experience planning, creating, and curating content for social media for a large organization 
    • Proficiency with industry standard tools for social media distribution, research, and tracking 
    • Experience reporting on channel metrics 
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and budgets 
    • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, ability to bring a strategic and critical point of view on content and brand presentations
    • Proven expertise with social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc 
    • Ability to monitor and respond to social media posts outside of regular working hours 
    • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing environment, always bringing humor, tact, and professionalism 
    • Financial Services and/or mortgage industry and applicable regulatory guidelines preferred
