Funeral Home & Services Attendant
Location: Simi Valley, CA
40 hours per week
Paid medical & dental insurance
401K match after 1 year of employment
Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
Salary commensurate with experience
Duties included, but not limited to:

• Assisting and leading funeral services
• Preparing decedents for cremation
• Removal of decedents from hospitals, nursing homes, coroner’s offices, etc.
• Answering telephones
• Assisting families
• Set-up and tear down of funeral services
• Drive funeral coaches
• Perform support calls to review service details for accuracy (day before service/visitation)
• Office inventory, cleaning, and maintenance
• Receiving and staging of supplies, casket, & flower deliveries
• Proficient use of computers, software, and technology
• Able to conduct with a “family first” approach
• Ability to attend to decedents with the utmost care
• Other duties as assigned

Licenses and Certifications:
Maintain a valid CA driver’s license & clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing between 75-100lbs
Ability to push and pull up to 200lbs with a wheeled cart
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to operate computer, mouse, copier/printer, and telephone
Ability to work on a computer and look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
Use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
