    ABI is looking to add an IT Helpdesk Tech to its growing team. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to provide remote support to our clients. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues over the phone, hardware builds and assisting the front office staff. The position offers the opportunity to be a leader in our fast-growing organization and to help shape the future growth and development of ABI.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide remote computer/network troubleshooting
    • Answer incoming client phone calls and emails
    • Build/repair computer workstations and servers
    • Assist the front office with daily tasks
    • Create and manage help desk tickets

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • 2+ years' experience in Information Technology client/end user support
    • 2+ years' experience in phone-based troubleshooting (i.e., hardware and software)
    • Must have strong troubleshooting skills
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to train others in computer systems
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to provide the customer with outstanding customer care and service at all times
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to take detailed notes
    • Be able to work occasional night/weekends when required
     
    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Proficient in the following:
    • Microsoft desktop operating systems through Windows 10
    • Microsoft Server operating systems through Server 2016
    • MAC OS X
    • Microsoft Office application suites through Office 2016
    • Microsoft Exchange through 2016 & Office 365
    • Basic understanding of network and setting up/troubleshooting network issues
    • DSL and Cable Modem installations
    • Routers / Firewall's (e.g., off the shelf brands, SonicWall, and Watchguard)
    • Experience in Barracuda brand hardware
     
    NOT REQUIRED, A PLUS
    Dispatching / Scheduling Using ConnectWise Manage
    IT Glue, ConnectWise Automate (LabTech), Microsoft 365
    • Experience in IP based phone systems such as Allworx
     
    CERTIFICATIONS
    The following certifications are a plus but are not required:
    • A+
    • Network+
    • MCP/MCSE
    • CCNA/CCNP
