WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. — The Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa
Barbara (CscVvsb) announces a free workshop, “Distinguished Speaker Series: “Bogeyman in the Closet” Discussion of Embracing Life, fear of Death, and Living Fully with Cancer
with David Kessler” on Thursday, June 29th, 6:30-8:00pm, at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Please call 805-379-4777 to RSVP or to learn more.  Join this discussion about life, recurrence, death and cancer.  This is a safe place where talking about the fear of death does not mean giving up—it means learning how to live fully despite cancer. He teaches how fear doesn’t stop death, fear stops life.   He will present from his well-loved workshop practical information about how to reduce common fears of recurrence, illness, death and finding a new stronger richer life after cancer.
David Kessler has written 5 best-selling books that have received praise from Saint (Mother) Teresa, Marianne Williamson, Maria Shriver and Caroline Myss. His work is based on his own experiences as well as his books with Louise Hay and Elisabeth Kübler Ross. He volunteers as a Board Member for the Farrah Fawcett Foundation and is frequent guest on the Dr Oz show and a contributing writer on Oprah.com.
