No one should have to give up a pet due to financial constraints right now. Together we are making a difference. Our last event at Councilmember Bob Bloomenfield's office helped over 100 people and their pets. We had 200 more emails and calls waiting for us as did our partners. There is a critical need right now and keeping owner surrenders down is important to our shelters and rescues. We continue to pull from shelters, take in abandoned animals and get them adopted. It is my responsibility to make sure we get the funds and supplies to keep this activity going.
