    The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven, professionally staffed non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the region’s business community.  The Chamber is one of the largest in California with approximately 900 members. The strength of this tri-city Chamber lies in its membership – working together to make the communities of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Agoura Hills a better place to live, work and raise a family.

    Position Description
    The Operations Coordinator reports to the CEO and the Controller. This is a “utility player” position whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, in-office trouble-shooting and minor tech support, assist at monthly events and administrative support.  The successful candidate must be tech-savvy, an effective multi-tasker, deadline-driven and a pro-active team player.
    Job Duties
    • Print out Authorize.net credit card transactions and settlement reports daily.
    • Process New Member applications and complete checklist.  Make a checklist copy for Director of Membership.
    • Make Member updates in Chamber’s data-base program (ChamberMaster) as needed.
    • Order office supplies including Costco & Office Depot orders.
    • Complete Renewal Letters.
    • Assist with Ribbon Cutting & event photography as needed.
    • Maintain daily Touch Calls and report to Director of Membership weekly.
    • Assist in offsite filming as needed.
    • Assist with current Chamber saving programs including maintaining FedEx, Constant Contact and Office Depot programs along with the Director of Membership.
    • Process Name Badge orders and make sure payments are received.  Distribute name badges accordingly.
    • Technology/ Phone Support Lead.  Troubleshooting & minor tech support, maintain subscription software accounts & domain registrations and usernames & passwords database.
    • General administrative support including but not limited to updating Board of Directors roster, phone reception, membership database management, prep for meetings including room set-up, collating of information, etc.
    • Attending monthly Networking Groups and report to Director of Membership & Membership Coordinator.
    • Assist at monthly meetings and special events (early mornings/evenings) including registration, set-up and photography.
    • Contribute to the Chamber’s magazine ConejoView as needed.
    • Staff Lead for Conejo Senior Resource Network (CSRN).  Send out reminders for upcoming meetings and update group list. 
    • Weekly organization of Chamber lobby.
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Full-time (37.5 hours/week) with competitive salary (approximately $17/hour DOE) and benefits.
     
    Job Requirements
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, Outlook and other software as needed.
    • Must be tech-savvy to assist team members in everyday computer, copier and phone questions and issues and interact with the professional technology support company used by the Chamber.
    • Must have excellent written (business and creative) and verbal skills and communicate professionally at all times. 
    • Must be able to multi-task, run errands, be flexible and meet deadlines.
    • Must be detail-oriented, show initiative, have reliable transportation, be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend or stoop, be able to sit or stand in place for long periods such as at mixers.
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience.
    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
    The Chamber employs a small but incredibly professional team. This 9-person team works very closely together and all team members are expected to assist in all other departments as needed. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and a background in working closely with many different departments.
