Managing Chronic Pain and Illness during Stressful Times with Daniela Paolone, LMFT

Please join us for an interactive workshop and discussion on how psychological factors can influence health and illness. Discussion will include common signs and symptoms of stress and ways to manage stress, including an in-depth discussion and demonstration of the Emotional Freedom Technique and its use by mental health care professionals for symptom relief/reduction.
Daniela Paolone is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Westlake Village who provides support to those suffering from chronic pain, chronic illness, and anxiety using mindfulness, tapping, guided meditation and additional holistic approaches. Her focus in this area comes from her own personal history with chronic pain and illness and the impact it can have on the person and family members. She also offers presentations in the community on related topics each month.

Dr. Kujak is pleased to speak about the updates on current guidelines and evidence for lung cancer screening. This is now been approved by Medicare for high risk patients aged 55 to 77 years. We NOW have the Medicare Program at our Centers. Dinner will be graciously provided by Rolling Oaks Radiology in Thousand Oaks.
Dr. Kujak is a senior partner and Vice President of Rolling Oaks Radiology. She has been selected to the Super Doctors Southern California Rising Stars in 2014 and 2015.
