Express Employment Professionals Donates to Local Non-Profit for Each Job Placement
Ventura County Rescue Mission in Good Hands
Thousand Oaks, CA, Oct 1st, 2021 –In celebration of their 15th Anniversary, Express Employment Professionals hosted a Summer Hiring Drive.
The Summer Hiring Drive took place from August 2nd throughout October 2021 in order to reach its goal of placing at least 250 new employees to work. For every person who earned a paycheck with Express Employment Professionals for the first time during that period, $15 was donated to the Ventura County Rescue Mission. Through onboarding 250 new employees, they secured $3,750 in donations for the local non-profit.
Express chose the Ventura County Rescue Mission as the beneficiary because of the vast impact the organization has on the most vulnerable members of our community. Since 1972, the Ventura County Rescue Mission has been serving the poor and homeless, offering hope to thousands of people currently in need. The mission provides a full range of services to help the most vulnerable members of our community break free from poverty, homelessness, and addiction.
Neil McMillan, President of Express Employment Professionals, had this to say, “We wanted to do something that both celebrated our 15-year anniversary and contributed to the community, so we chose to collaborate with the Ventura County Rescue Mission.”
Express has 800 locations and is on a mission to put a million people to work annually. The Ventura County offices began operation in 2006. The teams at Express in Oxnard and Thousand Oaks help as many people as possible find good jobs, by helping as many clients as possible find good people. Express serves a variety of fields, including Professional, Finance and Accounting, Administrative, and Commercial with temporary, evaluation hire, and direct hire employees.
