• City of Agoura Hills Hosts Annual State of the City Address honoring Hatch Café & Market as Business of the Year

    Agoura Hills, CA The City of Agoura Hills will host their annual State of the City Address on October 23, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at The Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center in partnership with the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
     
    J.B. Long, “Voice of the Los Angeles Rams,” will return as the Master of Ceremonies for the event with a keynote presentation by Mayor Linda Northrup. The program will include the Presentation of Colors by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Honor Guards with the National Anthem performed by a quartet from Agoura High School. Mayor Northrup will also honor Hatch Café & Market as 2019 Agoura Hills Business of the Year and Don Phillipson, Chair of the Chamber Board and Owner of WSI ePro Marketing, will give a State of the Chamber address.
     
    Mayor Linda Northrup is honored to be the first Agoura High School graduate to serve as Mayor of Agoura Hills. She has a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from UCLA and a law degree from Hastings College of Law in San Francisco.  Mayor Northrup moved her law firm to the Conejo Valley in 2005 and have been members the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years. Mayor Northrup is also involved in, and supporter of, many local charitable and community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Senior Concerns and the Cancer Support Community.
     
    Tickets for this event are $50 per person, available at www.conejochamber.org through Friday, October 18, 2019. All tickets must be pre-purchased, as tickets will not be for sale at the door.
