           Frankly Speaking about Cancer Series: Cancer and Treatment Side Effects
    with Samuel Slomowitz, MD
     
    WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. — The Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa
    Barbara (CscVvsb) announces a free workshop, “Frankly Speaking about Cancer Series: Cancer and Treatment Side Effects” on Tuesday, August 8th 6:00-7:30pm, at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Please call 805-379-4777 to RSVP or to learn more This workshop will cover the latest information on cancer treatment side effects management, from nausea and fatigue during chemotherapy to post-treatment “chemo brain” to neuropathy, Dr. Slomowitz will give a practical guide to navigating through the challenges of cancer treatment side effects.
    Dr. Slomowitz recently joined Dr. Harry Menco and Dr. Sara Capatanos here in the Conejo Valley from the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, UT. He completed training in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Slomowitz’s practice includes all cancers and blood disorders, and he also had a research specialization during his training in thoracic oncology (lung and breast cancer). He is a member of American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology as well as American Society of Hematology.
