    Learn about Immunotherapy
    with Dr. Natasha Banerjee

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. — The Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa
Barbara (CscVvsb) announces a free workshop, “Learn about Immunotherapy” on Tuesday, September 5th, 6:00-7:30pm, at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Please call 805-379-4777 to RSVP or to learn more. Immunotherapy is a new class of cancer treatment that works to harness the innate powers of the immune system to fight cancer. Immunotherapy may hold greater potential than current treatment approaches to fight cancer more powerfully, to offer longer-term protection, to come with fewer side effects, and to benefit more patients with more cancer types.

Dr. Natasha Banerjee received her MD from University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She completed her Hematology-Oncology fellowship training at the UCLA-Olive View / Cedars-Sinai / Kaiser Los Angeles program. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. She is interested in hematologic malignancies and general oncology with a focus on head and neck and thoracic malignancies. She additionally assists in coordinating the performance improvement projects for the hematology/oncology fellows.
