Barbara (CscVvsb) announces a free workshop, “Ask the Expert: Prostate Cancer with Dr. Richard Lam” on Saturday, October 21st, 10:30am-12:00pm, at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Please call 805-379-4777 to RSVP or to learn more. Join us as highly regarded Oncologist Dr. Richard Lam discusses the topic of Individualizing Prostate Cancer Treatment Based Upon Risk Assessment. His presentation will focus on the benefit of individualizing treatment for low, intermediate and high risk patients, as well as those with metastatic disease. Dr. Lam will also discuss the current status of immunotherapy for treatment with prostate cancer and be available to field pertinent questions from our group about the care and treatment of prostate cancer.
Dr. Lam, with over 15 years of experience exclusively treating men with prostate cancer, is one of the pre-eminent oncologists in the field here in Southern California. In addition to his practice with the Prostate Oncology Specialists in Marina Del Rey, Dr. Lam also serves as their Director of Clinical Research. Dr. Lam is one of the leading oncologists in the field of prostate cancer treatment. His medical practice is with Prostate Cancer Specialists, a nationally recognized center for comprehensive prostate cancer care.
The Prostate Networking Group is a monthly support group for men with prostate cancer. Family members are also welcome. We meet every third Saturday of the month from 10:30am - 12:30pm and provide information and emotional support in fighting prostate cancer.
