DINNER & LEARN: How to Manage Cancer Pain with Alexander Hersel, MD and Bradley Spiegel, MD
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. — The Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa
Barbara (CscVvsb) announces a free workshop, “
DINNER & LEARN: How to Manage Cancer Pain” on Tuesday, November 14
th, 6:00-7:30pm, at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Please call 805-379-4777 to RSVP or to learn more. Did you know that one out of every three patients with cancer experiences pain? Cancer patients might experience pain that’s caused by the disease, by the treatments for the disease—or both. At Pain Management & Injury Relief (PMIR) Medical Center, we understand that pain is a complex condition that affects the whole person—mind, body and spirit. Our doctors provide a comprehensive, integrated approach to pain management, customize the most effective treatment plans for patients, and empower patients to become a collaborative partner in their treatment. Come learn about the types of pain caused by cancer and the various, non-medication-based treatment options available, including complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) options, plus the steps patients can take at home to help themselves experience pain reduction and relief.
Dinner will be graciously provided by PMIR Medical Center. Please RSVP 805.379.4777
