The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce offers two committees tailored to policy and education issues affecting the Conejo Valley to keep members informed about the latest policies and issues.
Legislative Roundtable provides a setting for dialogue to take place on public policy issues and gives public agency staff, elected officials, their staff and businesses an opportunity to network. The meeting has a guest speaker on a public sector topic and regular updates from our local cities, agencies and elected officials.
Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 8:00am - 9:00am at the Chamber. (DARK in November and December)
EDUCATION & WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The Education & Workforce Development Committee coordinates interaction between business and the local school districts, Conejo Valley Unified School District and Las Virgenes Unified School District, and partners with private schools and colleges in our area. The committee encourages educational excellence by rewarding teachers and students with awards and scholarships.
If your business is education-related, if your target client market is young families or if you have a general interest in local education, consider attending this committee.
Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of the month from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Chamber. (DARK July and August)
