The Education Council works to improve the future quality of your workforce by hosting quality educational programs through local partnerships. Meetings include a presentation by featured speakers in the areas of Education, Job Training, Human Resources, Community Programs, and updates from our local partners.
The Education Council coordinates interaction between businesses, local school districts, private schools and universities.
This council also leads our Teacher of the Month Program where we honor educational excellence by rewarding teachers with a plaque in their name and gifts from Chamber Members. This is an opportunity for Chamber Members (you) to acknowledge our educators while also giving a brief description of your organization!
This Month's Speaker: Amirah Meghani, Mathnasium Learning Centers
Amirah Meghani owns three Mathnasium Learning Centers, in Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Granada Hills. She has been a part of Mathnasium since 2015. Since 2021, Amirah has helped pioneer and refine a unique opportunity delivering Mathnasium's award-winning program at school campuses in Southern California. For the 3rd summer in a row, Amirah and her team will design and manage math summer education at Granada Hills Charter's TK-8 and High School campuses. In total, they are now operating over eight school programs delivering summer, school day, or after school instructional programs.
