Legislative Roundtable provides a setting for dialogue to take place on public policy issues and gives public agency staff, elected officials, their staff and businesses an opportunity to network. The meeting includes a guest speaker on a public sector topic and regular updates from our local cities, agencies, and elected officials.

Staff members provide brief reports from their prospective agencies to inform each other and members of the chamber of upcoming events or other items of interest.

This Month's Speaker: Senator Henry Stern, representing Senate District 27

Senator Henry Stern was elected to the California State Senate in November of 2016. He represents the diverse constituents of the 27th district that includes just under half of Ventura County and parts of Los Angeles County.  

Senator Stern has worked tirelessly as a fierce advocate for the 27^th district on important issues such as the environment, clean energy, wildfire mitigation, housing, mental healthcare, and public safety throughout his community.
