Legislative Roundtable provides a setting for dialogue to take place on public policy issues and gives public agency staff, elected officials, their staff and businesses an opportunity to network. The meeting includes a guest speaker on a public sector topic and regular updates from our local cities, agencies, and elected officials. Staff members provide brief reports from their prospective agencies to inform each other and members of the chamber of upcoming events or other items of interest.
This Month's Meeting: Christina Coulson - Californians for Energy Independence
Ventura Citizens for Energy Independence, a project of Californians for Energy Independence, is a coalition of community members, business organizations, labor unions and taxpayer advocates who support local oil and gas production in Ventura County.
More than 55,000 people power California’s oil and gas production under the strictest environmental standards in the world, generating $1.7 billion in state and local tax revenues to fund schools, social services, and public safety. Christina is a member of the VCEI Field Team.
She focuses on coalition building and engagement, programming, education and outreach.
