ALZHEIMER’S COMEDY INITIATIVE’S SECOND ANNUAL COMEDY BENEFIT SHOW, “THERE’S NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT ALZHEIMER’S, EXCEPT THIS SHOW” SET FOR SUNDAY, JAN. 27, 2019
The Alzheimer’s Comedy Initiative (ACI) of the Alzheimer’s Association, California Central Coast Chapter is hosting its second annual Alzheimer’s benefit comedy show at the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
Professional comedians include Randy Lubas, Don McMillan, Gali Kroup and more. There will also be a special appearance by Rona Barrett. The show is slated to be family-friendly. Tickets start at $25. “My mother passed away from Alzheimer’s last year,” said ACI Founder and Chair and local
Westlake Village resident Robert Wallace, MD, MBA. “I have always been interested in
performing as a comedian, so when the time came to retire as a respected physician in the
Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks area, I decided to get together with the Alzheimer’s
Association and make my contribution with this benefit show.”
