• Author Meredith May ''The Honey Bus'' Speaks September 19 - Get Your Free Ticket

    Join the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center,  Fred Kavli Theater on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00p.m. to hear and enjoy fifth-generation beekeeper Meredith May present an author talk and sign copies of her book. During this in-person event, Meredith May will discuss her book, "The Honey Bus: A Memoir of Loss, Courage and a Girl Saved by Bees". This event is part of the One City, One Book community reads program sponsored by the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library.  A Q & A session with the award-winning journalist and author will be  moderated by Mary Olson, General Manager of KCLU and a book signing will follow with copies of "The Honey Bus" available for purchase. Tickets are required and they are FREE at the Grant R. Brimhall Library and the Newbury Park Library.

    Members of the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will be given early admission prior to the event.
