Cancer and Legal Issues Workshop for Everyone & One-on-one Counseling for Breast Cancer Survivors with Tina Segura, Esq.

Legal issues can be a huge source of stress for people with cancer and their families. This workshop, offered by the Cancer Legal Resource Center, will provide legal information on employment, insurance, disability benefits, advance planning, etc. All are welcome.
One-on-one counseling (10 minutes each) is for people with breast cancer only and will focus specifically on cancer related legal issues. Please register with Kaley Moore (805.379.4777 Ext. 236) for one-on-one counseling.
Tina Segura is a staff attorney with the Disability Rights Legal Center’s Cancer Legal Resource Center (CLRC). Ms. Segura researches cancer-related legal issues, provides information and resources to people affected by cancer, and conducts training on legal issues related to cancer.
Learn about HPV-related Cancers: Gynecological and Head & Neck Cancers

Human papillomavirus (HPV) causes cancers such as cervical and oropharyngeal cancers (cancers of the back of the throat, base of tongue and tonsils). Please come and learn more about HPV related cancers from experts. Our speakers, Dr. Rimel and Dr. Ho will address HPV-related gynecological cancers and head & neck cancer respectively and also cover what HPV is and how it causes cancer, treatment options, and prevention by vaccination.
Dr. Bobbie Jo Rimel is a gynecological oncologist with Cedars Sinai and Dr. Allen Ho is an ophthalmologist and the director of Head and Neck Cancer Program at Cedars Sinai.

Our speaker, Dr. Kujak, will help attendees better understand diagnostic radiation.
