Conejo Free Clinic Receives Major Gift to Dental Clinic from Pozzi Family
The Conejo Free Clinic in Thousand Oaks is pleased to announce a $200,000 leadership gift to the Conejo Free Clinic
Dental Clinic honoring the life of Bruno Pozzi, founder of American Tooth Industries, Oxnard. Mr. Pozzi was a
leader in the dental and orthodontic manufacturing industry for over 50 years.
“This gift is made by Bruno’s family, Victoria, Brando, Karla, Emilio and Elizabeth Pozzi of Camarillo in memory and
honor of their late husband and father,” said Leanne Tapper, CFC Executive Director. “Their generous gift will exclusively
sponsor a patient treatment room in Bruno’s name. It will also help us launch and sustain three transformational new CFC
dental initiatives over the next five years: our upcoming UCLA School of Dentistry Residency, new Children’s Orthodontics
Program and expanded care for former patients of the now closed Salvation Army Dental Clinic in Oxnard.” Also in Bruno
Pozzi’s name, thousands of low-income Ventura County residents will receive dental care free of charge for years to
come-- children, families, foster youth, seniors, the homeless and near-homeless, veterans, special needs and Alzheimer’s
patients.”
“The Pozzi family is proud to support the Conejo Free Clinic Dental Clinic in memory of Bruno Pozzi,” said Victoria Pozzi.
“Bruno believed dental health was essential to both physical and mental well being. We feel this gift is a perfect way to
honor his legacy while providing services to community members in need."
