CR PRINT LAUNCHES CONEJO 365 EVENTS CALENDAR MAGAZINE
(Westlake Village, CA) CR Print, a full service printing and graphic design company, is launching its first magazine August 1, 2014. Called Conejo 365, the colorful publication is the first of its kind, covering public events and entertainment in the Conejo Valley all in one, comprehensive consumer guide.
The beautifully photographed magazine will chronologically list what is going on in the area. Conejo 365 will be free to the public and to the organizations, charities and companies promoting their events, including fund raisers, concerts, sporting events, parades, and other entertainment. The publication will also contain tips, recommendations, and other “insider” information on many of the community activities.
Dave Friedl, CR Print president, notes, “People ask why we want to produce Conejo 365. First and foremost, we want to help more people enjoy the amazing Conejo lifestyle by helping our communities promote their events all in one place. We’re giving them the inside scoop on what’s happening in the area. We are so fortunate to live in the beautiful Conejo Valley, which offers residents and visitors an unprecedented year-round array of activities.
“However, that blessing can also be a problem. The need we see is that there is so much going on in our communities it’s difficult for the public to get a complete calendar of events in one place. Further, event sponsors often conflict with one another because they are unaware of other activities that could draw attention away from their cause. No one needs to miss out and the pages of Conejo 365 will enhance their experiences.”
From an advertiser’s perspective, Friedl says that because the magazine will list so many activities in a calendar format, consumers will use and hold on to the publication for extended periods. “Advertisers will get higher frequency in readership to a very targeted audience that covers the entire Conejo Valley,” he states. “That all translates into a greater return on their ad dollars. We’ll even help our advertisers create and fine-tune their messages. We’re not just giving lip service to ‘Buy Local.’ We mean it.”
