The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library invite readers and gift givers to shop at the Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park library bookshops which are fully stocked with like-new used books and CDs at great prices. Year-round, community members donate their gently used books, CDs, and DVDs to the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library where Friends’ volunteers prepare them for sale. It is easy shopping with prices as low as $1.00 for hardback books!

Proceeds from the sales are used to fund enhanced services at the libraries including the purchase of e-resources, new books and materials, technology, and the presentation of exciting programs for people of all ages.

    Shop local at these locations:
Grant R. Brimhall Thousand Oaks Library 1401 E. Janss Road - Thousand Oaks
Newbury Park Library 2331 Borchard Road - Newbury Park

If it is easier for you to shop online, you will find excellent titles at below market prices at The Friends Amazon Storefront and at the Friends e-Bay storefront.
