Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce Announces Candidates Forum
Candidates for CVUSD School Board, Ventura County Community College District and Thousand Oaks City Council to participate.
Thousand Oaks – The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and California Lutheran University will host a Candidates Forum on Thursday, October 11th at 6pm in the Lundring Events Center. The moderator will be Dr. Herb Gooch, the former chair of California Lutheran University’s Political Science Department. The event is free and open to the public.
The forum will include three local elections. The candidates for Thousand Oaks City Council, Ventura County Community College District Trustee and Conejo Valley Unified School District Board have been invited to attend.
6:00pm – 7:30pm – Thousand Oaks City Council
7:30pm – 8:00pm – Ventura County Community College District Trustee
8:00pm – 9:00pm – Conejo Valley Unified School District Board
Candidates will have the opportunity to make statements and will answer questions prepared by the Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Gooch. If time is available, the public will have the opportunity to submit written questions of the candidates.

The voters in our community will be making important decisions in November and it is important that they hear from the candidates about what they plan to do if they are elected.”
