(Westlake Village, CA) The elder care and estate planning law firm of Terri Hilliard, PC is introducing a unique, new program called Hilliard Home that bridges the gap between legal, financial, and daily, in-and-out-of-home care for the community and clients.   The firm has instituted a Client Care service to assist families and caregivers by qualifying and sharing experts and resources to address the social, psychological, and physical needs of the aging.

According to the firm’s owner Terri Hilliard, “Hilliard Home is our new approach to solve the issues of those aging at home.  We have a trusted relationship with our clients when we preserve and protect them and their assets. Now, they have cutting edge resources and guidance to address the ongoing concerns of the elderly and their caregivers.”

An important part of the Hilliard Home is an educational series of programs designed to provide valuable information and exchanges of ideas to help individuals and their families handle their day-to-day, emotional, and psycho-social needs.  The first such meetings are free and open to the public, featuring a variety of topics presented by experts in their fields.

October 23, Marianne Knight, founder of California Senior Living, will cover “Choosing Quality Senior Care for Your Loved Ones.” November 13, interior designer Eileen Gould will showcase “What Does Home Look Like?” and Lynn Jones with the Camarillo Health Care District will highlight “Gadgets and Devices at Home.” December 13, neurologist Dr. Liliana Cohen will be speaking on “Alzheimer’s Research and the New Brain” and Martha Shapiro with Senior Concerns will be presenting “Ahead of the Curve: Expanding the Options for Seniors and Family Caregivers.”

Each of these sessions will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Janet Levett Chamber of Commerce Center, 600 Hampshire Blvd., Suite 202, Westlake Village. A light lunch and beverages will be served.

Space is limited. Interested parties can register at (805) 201-2552 or by e-mail to ClientCare@TerriHilliard.com.
