Kathleen M. Fellows, an attorney with the Camarillo-based employment law firm LightGabler, has been named to the 2020 Super Lawyers' Rising Star list of southern California attorneys. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. This is the second year that Fellows has been selected. She was previously named in 2019.
Fellows' practice involves representing clients in disputed employment law matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour including class actions. Fellows also counsels employers in all aspects of employment law compliance including employment agreements, policies and procedures, and wage and hour. Recently, she has been counseling businesses on COVID-19 workplace issues.
The annual Rising Star selections are made using a process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews. Candidates must be age 40 or under.
Fellows is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Ventura County Bar Association. She received her Juris Doctor from Ventura College of Law.
