California law requires employers with at least 5 employees to provide two hours of harassment prevention training to supervisors and one hour of instruction to other workers once every two years. SB 1343 also mandates that employers must train newly hired employees and those promoted to supervisory roles within six months of employment or promotion.

Employees take an online test after viewing the training video. Once the test is successfully completed, they receive a certificate of completion that will go into their personnel files. Businesses have unlimited use of the videos for current employees and future hires. Companies can track which employees complete the training so they can make sure all employees are up to date on their training requirements and the business stays in compliance.
The one-time cost of both supervisor and staff training videos is $750 for employers with 500 or fewer employees and $1,200 for employers with over 500 employees. In-person training is also available.
