Logix Federal Credit Union Celebrates 12 Days of Giving to CVUSD Schools

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (December 16, 2020) — Wrapping up a difficult year on a high note, Logix Federal Credit Union has created the 12 Days of Giving to support students in the Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) by gifting $1,000 to one local school daily from December 14 to December 25.

The schools are being announced through the credit union’s social media channels and are listed below.

“This has been an incredibly difficult year for our schools. Logix recognizes the importance of supporting teachers and faculty as they strive to provide the greatest quality of education to their students,” said John Roemer, EVP, Chief Strategy and Communications Officer for Logix, also a local resident. “These 12 Days of Giving allows us to give educators a little boost this holiday season, and our entire team at Logix is thrilled to be able to provide this support.”

Earlier in the Fall 2020 semester, Logix donated more than 10,000 bags to these Conejo Valley schools. Teachers put supplies in them to deliver to students with minimal contact during drive-through pickups.

“To receive this gift from Logix is truly a wonderful way to end this year,” said Kimberly Gold, Coordinator of Communications for CVUSD. “In these unprecedented times, we are grateful to have community partners like Logix who support our students and our schools.”

The credit union is committed to the Conejo Valley, and Logix Branch Manager Guadalupe Bayardo in Westlake Village is a member of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee.

“We know how hard the administrators, staff, teachers, parents and students have worked this year,” Bayardo said. “It is a privilege to make a difference with them in this way. Each school has its own challenges and needs, and these dollars will help support their efforts to deliver a positive experience to their school community.”

With branches throughout the Conejo Valley – including Newbury Park, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks – Logix has many members who are parents within the CVUSD.
