Share the Warmth: Assisting the Homeless in our Community

Assistance League® of Conejo Valley in partnership with Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Harbor House Thousand Oaks have launched their latest philanthropic program to assist the homeless in this time of crisis in our community.  Sharing the Warmth is a program dedicated to providing new warm coats and jackets, new sleeping bags and laundry items to community members who find themselves in need.  The jackets and sleeping bags can be a source of warmth and comfort to our homeless neighbors as they grapple with the challenges of being on the street.  Individuals in the community can help by generously donating and continuing to support the local and fabulous Assistance League of Conejo Valley Thrift Shop, located at 2583 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks.  It is chock full of vintage treasures and trendy clothing, accessories and housewares.
