The Conejo Open Space Foundation invites you to come and enjoy our 2019 Speaker Series! With our engaging speakers you can enhance your knowledge of our wonderful open space and learn amazing facts about our local wildlife, the geology of the region, and our human connections to the land. Our first speaker, Seth Riley, is a Wildlife Ecologist with the National Park Service at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. He will be talking about the local mountain lion populations, threats to their survival and ways we can coexist with mountain lions and other wildlife in our open space. His talk will be at 6:30 on Thursday, June 27th, at the Grant R. Brimhall Library at 1401 E. Janss Rd., Thousand Oaks. Free to the public, although a $10 donation would be appreciated. To sign up and view other events this year in the Speaker Series, please go to the Conejo Open Space Foundation website at https://cosf.org/help-support-your-local-open-space/
