    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Agoura Hills, CA  January 4, 2022

Since before the beginning of the pandemic Little Angels Project saw a clear need amongst pet owners who wanted to keep their pets but were faced with bills they could not afford. The goal of our program is to reduce owner surrender for medical need.

Our organization provides free and low-cost Veterinary Care for those in under-served communities, seniors, veterans, low income and homeless with pets to help owners retain their animals and save them from euthanasia or surrender to a shelter or rescue.

The need for medical care is not being met and as a result, 20% of intake at shelters is for medical causes (often treatable) and sadly many owners opt to surrender rather than treat the beloved pet due to the exorbitant cost of care

Veterinary care can be expensive, for many the impact of the pandemic includes the loss of income that would have normally covered the cost of pet care.  Offering affordable or free alternatives reduces the impact to shelter intake and rescue care budgets and keep the animal with its owner.

Our services are free to all who qualify.

We move locations in Los Angeles and Ventura County to accommodate all areas in need.

Pets must register to be seen in advance.

Wellness checks include a thorough physical evaluation of the pet, new and booster vaccinations, flea prevention if needed and microchips if desired.

We are seeking locations in the Los Angeles and Ventura County Area to hold our mobile wellness events.  We also welcome sponsorship of each event as cost runs between $2500 to $3000.  If you are interested in hosting an event or in being a financial sponsor for an event please contact me
