Westlake Village-The first of its kind in Southern California, Rootementary is a unique and modern, fast-service hair-coloring salon dedicated to providing top quality color services and maintenance for customers at a modest price point in a high-end salon environment.
“We offer clients a menu of services–everything from a quick one-hour root touchup, a full color coverage, to a complete set of highlights,” says Guy Matthew Dee, co-owner of Rootementary, and former owner of the successful Guy Matthew Salon and Day Spa in Agoura Hills.
Rootementary is designed to offer its clientele refreshed hair color in between regular stylist appointments. “We’re not here to replace your personal stylist,” said Dee. “We are branding a new salon concept: No cuts!”
The service also replaces the mess and hassle of dying out of a box. “Our colorists will make sure each customer’s look and experience is fantastic before they check out,” says Laura Lloyd, salon co-owner. “We guarantee you will leave Rootementary looking great and feeling it, too!
Rootementary officially opens to the public on October 14. A ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, takes place on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 4:30 p.m. Catered by Zin Bistro, the event will feature pass-around champagne, delectable h’orderves and fresh juices from Juice Ranch.
