Thousand Oaks, Calif. – Longtime Conejo Valley resident and small business owner Ted Nordblum announced his campaign for the State Assembly in the 42nd District.
Ted Nordblum was raised in a working class family that taught him the values of hard work, determination, and self-reliance. He previously worked in construction and as a heavy equipment operator before opening his own medical device company, where he has been in business the last 18 years. Ted was inspired to run for office in 2021, after he tragically lost his brother to a fentanyl overdose.
“Decades of single party rule in Sacramento has resulted in the erosion of our freedoms, of our economy, our communities, and the California Dream” said Nordblum. “When elected, I will fight to Restore the California Dream by bringing jobs and small businesses back to California, protecting our communities from crime and drug addiction, and finally addressing the homelessness crisis” continued Nordblum.
Ted has received early endorsements from many influential leaders and organizations, including Simi Valley Mayor Fred Thomas, Moorpark Mayor Chris Enegren, and the Ventura County Republican Party.
“I have the business and leadership experience needed to restore the California Dream. I would be honored to have your support in 2024” Nordblum concluded.
The 42nd District includes portions of East Ventura and West Los Angeles counties, including the communities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Malibu, Moorpark, Oak Park, Pacific Palisades, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village.
