Award-winning cinematographer and explorer, Steve Elkins, has worked in television and film for 30 years. While filming in the Honduran rain forests in 1994, he became fascinated with the Honduran Mosquitia jungle and its “lost city” legends. He and his team of scientific experts and seasoned adventurers used a cutting-edge technology to explore the Mosquitia rain forest in 2012, resulting in the discovery of two, mysterious “lost cities.” Their mind-blowing findings have garnered worldwide media attention and accolades from governments leaders, environmentalists, and scientists. Elkins was the subject of the New York Times mega-best-seller, The Lost City of the Monkey God: A True Story. Recognized recently by Foreign Policy Magazine as one of the Global Thinkers of the Year, Elkins offers singularly dynamic viewpoints on following your passion, leadership, motivation, courage, environmental conservation and exploration in the 21st century. Register early – seating is limited.
