The Yarrow Family YMCA in Westlake Village is celebrating its 30th anniversary from October 14 through October 19. Those who join the Y during that week will receive $30 off of their first month of membership. The Yarrow YMCA began as the Triunfo YMCA in 1989 with a small office in Westlake Village. All Y programs were conducted offsite at Agoura High School and local elementary schools. It was only after 20 years of planning and fundraising that began in 1999, was a stand-alone YMCA facility built. The Yarrow Family YMCA opened this year.
