The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is seeking holiday gift donations for those impacted by the Mountain and Los Angeles Fires. Its Gifts of Hope holiday shopping experience is on December 10 at the Yarrow Family YMCA. It will provide parents and guardians who lost their homes in the fires an opportunity to “shop” for new, donated gifts for their children at no cost.

Donated items will be accepted through Tuesday, December 9. New, unwrapped items being sought include toys for all ages, clothing (infant to teen sizes), shoes, electronics (games/tablets/headphones) and accessories (backpacks, bags, purses, jewelry/makeup). A gift-wrapping station at the December 10 event will enable participants to wrap presents onsite.

Donations can be dropped off at the Yarrow Family YMCA (31105 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Westlake Village). For donation questions, contact Dani Hutchison, dhutchison@sevymca.org, 805-497-3081, ext. 1009.
