      As a Nurse Practitioner for nearly 35 years, I went into healthcare to make a difference in the lives of others. Along the way, my own health was tested when I was diagnosed with breast cancer — and going through treatment taught me firsthand how much the body wants to heal itself, if we give it the right support.
