Grease is a 1978 American musical romantic comedy set in a 1950’s high school, based on the 1971 musical of the same name by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Written by Bronte Woodard and directed by Randal Kleiser in his theatrical feature film debut, the film depicts the lives of greaser Danny Zuko and straightlaced Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson who develop an attraction for each other. The film stars John Travolta as Danny and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy. Also starring are Stockard Channing, Jeff Conaway, Frankie Avalon, Barry Pearl, Michael Tucci and Didi Conn.

Paramount Ranch was established in the 1920’s as a moviemaking studio where dozens of early film classics were created. Over the following decades, the property evolved into a thriving film & television production site and beloved community event & recreation space that was destroyed in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

Funds raised will help SAMO Fund provide the money needed to complete the $12m restoration project being managed by NPS. Donations will be matched 1:1 by the Federal Government up to $500k.

This event is co-sponsored by Rick Hollman and The Lake Avenue Group at Morgan Stanley.
